Player Expectations
- Be ready to practice promptly at our start times. If needed,
show up a few minutes early to get yourself ready.
- Please be at the games at least 20 minutes prior to the game
start.
- If you have to miss a practice, game, or are going to be late,
please let your coach know in advance. A commitment to attend
all possible training sessions and games is expected.
- Excel in the classroom. You will either pay the price now, or
you'll pay a bigger price later! If you can't pass, you can't
play.
- Respect of coaches, players and referees is expected at all
times. Breaking of this rule will result in consequences determined
by the DFAC Director. Players are to listen and concentrate on
what the coach says at all times.
- Players must also be able to accept constructive criticism without
excuses.
- Players are to always do their best in practice and games to
improve upon their level of play. We play as we practice; always
give 100% when on the floor.
- Players must always put the team first. A player must accept
decisions that are made for the good of the team.
- Never Give Up! Winners never quit and quitters never win.
- Represent the DFAC program appropriately on the court, in the
classroom, and in the community.
