DFAC Basketball Competitive Team Tryouts
Tryouts for the DFAC Falcons 2010/2011 Competitive basketball program will be held the week
of August 9th - 14th. The tryout schedule for each age group is listed below.
All players are encouraged to attend both tryout sessions for their grade. Players
must be currently in the grade they tryout for. There will be a $10 fee for
tryouts. Each player will receive a T-Shirt.
3rd - 4th Grade Boys
Thursday, August 12th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at STMS
Saturday, August 14th from 12:00pm - 1:15pm at STMS
5th - 6th Grade Boys
Tuesday, August 10th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at STMS
Saturday, August 14th from 10:30am - 11:45am at STMS
7th - 8th Grade Boys
Monday, August 9th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at STMS
Saturday, August 14th from 9:00am - 10:15pm at STMS
5th - 8th Grade Girls
Wednesday, August 11th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at STMS
Saturday, August 14th from 1:30pm - 2:45pm at STMS
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time to check in.
Do not bring a basketball, all equipment will be provided by DFAC.
Do bring plenty of water!

DFAC Basketball Tryout Flyer
DFAC will form teams for the following age groups:
Boys 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grades
Girls 5th-6th and 7th-8th Grades
Teams will be formed for age groups that have a committed minimum number of players willing
to participate. Multiple teams may also be formed in age groups where there is
sufficient interest and provided DFAC can secure the needed gym time and coach/trainer
availability.
Parents may stay and watch the tryouts but we ask that younger siblings not attend to
avoid distractions. Our trainers will not discuss the tryout performance of players.
We ask that you make these tryouts a priority over other activities. If you absolutely
can't attend the scheduled sessions or have other questions contact Tyler Dummett, DFAC

Sonoran Trails Middle School (STMS)
STMS is located at 5555 E. Pinnacle Vista Drive. It is East of Tatum off of Jomax on
the corner of 56th Street and Pinnacle Vista Drive.
These tryouts are for the DFAC Falcon competitive program only and not for skill evaluations
for the recreational leagues. The registration for the winter recreational league will
be the first Saturday on October with exact times and locations TBD. Practices for the
recreational league will begin in December and games will be played in January, February
and March.
